Okay, so I know a lot of people on tumblr are into j-rock, j-pop, k-pop, and all that shit. But most of the posts I see are of pretty boy bands and all of the comments left on pictures, and interviews are people claiming how “hot/smexy/sexy/pretty/etc..” these people are. Why not talk about the…

I fully agree. I am BIG into J-pop/J-rock, and when I mention this to other fans, the always point me to their favorites:Dir En Gray, Alice Nine, GazzettE. Don’t get me wrong, they both have some good songs(but definatly not the best in my opinion), but the fans never seem to care for the music, just their looks. That’s why most J-rockers “like” visual kei. It’s not even about the music anymore, and it’s become hard to find a true music fan in J-rock, or any genre for that matter.
